A referral programme pays for an invited player who registers and completes the steps written into the terms. The structure is simple, but two details are regularly missed: the reward arrives late, and it usually arrives as bonus balance. This page describes the programme as the terms define it, without any claim about what it earns.

What the programme does

An account generates a unique invitation link or code. When an invitee registers through that exact link and meets the activation conditions, a reward is credited to the referrer. Without the correct link no connection is recorded at all, and it cannot be added afterwards — the single most common failure, and the only one entirely within the referrer’s control.

Activation, step by step

1. Take the link or code from the account promotions view; links published by third parties are not part of the programme.
2. Share it personally with someone who is already interested in the subject.
3. The invitee registers through the link and makes a qualifying deposit — the floor is 10 € by card, Trustly, MobilePay or online banking.
4. The invitee meets any staking threshold set out in the terms.
5. The reward credits to the referrer after the verification period stated in the campaign.

Worked example: what the reward is worth

Worked example, not an operator offer. A 20 € reward credited as bonus balance at a 20× multiplier requires 20 € × 20 = 400 € of stakes, against a withdrawal floor of 20 €. The reward is therefore not money in the account but a conditional benefit, released only after those stakes. Credited as cash instead, the same 20 € would be withdrawable as soon as the floor is met. Which of the two applies is a single line in the terms, and it is worth reading before the link is sent to anyone.

Conditions that cancel a reward

• The invitee already held an account, or shares a payment instrument or device with the referrer.
• Self-referral or parallel accounts — the stated consequence is forfeiture and possible account closure.
• The invitee misses the staking threshold within the period allowed.
• Posting the link publicly, where the terms prohibit it.
• The invitee’s country of residence sits on the restricted list.

The tax boundary

Tax exemption for gambling winnings rests on where the operator is established: winnings from an operator inside the EEA are tax-free for a player in Finland, while winnings from outside the EEA count as taxable income. A referral reward, however, arises from inviting rather than from play, so its character may differ from an ordinary win. No interpretation and no rates are offered here — current guidance should be checked on the Verohallinto website, particularly if rewards start accruing repeatedly rather than once, since regular income is a different question from an occasional benefit.

What travels with the invitation

An invitation is a recommendation, not a sales pitch. Inviting a minor or pressuring anyone to register breaches the terms and voids the reward, but more to the point it moves risk onto another person. It is also worth being straight about where the invitee ends up: Superonni operates on an international licence, no Finnish supervision applies to it, and a dispute with the operator is not heard by a Finnish authority. A licensing system is due to start in Finland in 2027, with supervision moving from Poliisihallitus to the new Lupa- ja valvontavirasto. Those facts belong in the invitation if the invitation is sent at all.

Rewards and personal limits

A reward credited as bonus balance increases stake volume like any other campaign, so the same controls apply: deposit limit, loss limit, session reminder, time-out and permanent closure, all set in the account settings.
